We are starting the first full week of the New Year, and there is a lot of news to share. In case you missed it, here’s a recap of the latest weather and machinery coverage on Agriculture.com.

It may be a new year, but the climate in Brazil is not changing. Dry weather will persist in southern Brazil from 2022, according to experts at WeatherTrends360. Their data shows that 2021 recorded the fifth wettest December in more than 30 years for the state of Mato Grosso, but the seventh driest December for Rio Grande do Sul.

Ford ended 2021 by unveiling a new lineup of trucks and SUVs at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. New products include the all-new Maverick pickup and over 40 unique project vehicles created in collaboration with aftermarket customizers. The new product editor summarizes some of the more eye-catching designs in their latest post.

Each week, Ryan Roossinck highlights one or two pieces of machinery destined for auction in his column, Interesting Iron. At the end of 2021, several notable pieces sold out, but were not featured in its regular article. In a two-part series he gave these interesting trucks and tractors one more chance. Check out the muscular International Harvester 1586 which sold for $ 24,100 in Lucerne, Missouri and the International Harvester 806 which grossed $ 41,000 in Avoca, Iowa.
